Flu and cough are caused by viruses, and in general, can heal on their own within a week. Even so, flu and cough can sometimes interfere with daily activities

One effective method is to use essential oils. Essential oil has a strong aroma, and can help relieve symptoms of flu and cough

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is an effective essential oil, to relieve colds and coughs, because Eucalyptus has expectorant, antibacterial, viral, and fungal properties

Diffuser use

Pour 5 drops of Eucalyptus oil into the Diffuser, then place the Diffuser in your room, before you sleep

Topical use

Pour 1-2 drops of Eucalyptus oil, with 1 tablespoon of Carrier oil, mix, then apply on your chest and neck to relieve coughing

 

Peppermint

Peppermint oil has a refreshing menthol aroma, and has antibacterial and antiviral properties. Peppermint is effective, to overcome nasal congestion, sinuses, colds, flu, reduce body aches and pains. Peppermint can also relieve an itchy throat which results in a dry cough

Diffuser Use & Direct Inhale

To relieve coughs and respiratory problems, pour 5 drops of Peppermint oil into the Diffuser, at home or in your office, or you can breathe the aroma of Peppermint oil, straight from the bottle

Topically use

Mix 2-3 drops of Peppermint oil, with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil, then apply to the chest, back neck and temples.

Steam Inhalation

Pour 3 drops of Peppermint oil, and 2 drops of Eucalyptus oil, into a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, then bring your face above the bowl. Close your eyes, and breathe in the steam, to help relieve colds, coughs, sinuses and nasal congestion

 

Rosemary

Rosemary has a relaxing effect on the tracheal smooth muscle, which helps relieve coughing, asthma and rhinosinusitis. Rosemary also shows antioxidant and antimicrobial properties, which function to boost immunity. Rosemary is effective for relieving symptoms of colds and flu, reducing pain and pain, improving circulation, and relieving nausea

Diffuser use

Pour 5 drops of Rosemary oil into your Diffuser, or Pour 3 drops of Rosemary, 4 drops of Peppermint, and 2 drops of Eucalyptus, to relieve flu or stuffy nose

Topical use

Pour 2 drops of Rosemary oil, with 1 teaspoon of Virgin Coconut oil (VCO), mix, then apply to your chest, to relieve coughing

 

Lemon

Lemon has antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Lemon has the ability to improve the immune system, relieve colds and coughs, and overcome respiratory problems

Disinfect the water

Pour 20 drops of Lemon oil into a spray bottle filled with water, then add a little vinegar. Beat the bottle to mix well. Lemon oil can help remove viruses and bacteria that cause flu and cough, and sterilize the air in your home

Diffuser use

Pour 5 drops of Lemon oil, and 2 drops of Eucalyptus on your Diffuser. Place the Diffuser in the living room, or in your office, to relieve coughing

 

Tea Tree

Tea Tree has strong antibacterial, antiseptic, antiviral properties, which can overcome respiratory problems, flu, cough, stuffy nose, and function as a natural disinfectant.

Direct inhale

To relieve flu & cough, you can breathe the aroma of Tea Tree oil, straight from the bottle

Topical Use

Pour 1-2 drops of Tea Tree oil, with 1 tablespoon of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Mix, then apply on the chest and neck behind you, to relieve coughing

 

Frankincense

Frankincense has antiseptic, astringent, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties which are used to treat colds or flu, overcome respiratory problems, relieve coughing, inflammation, bronchitis, and asthma

Hot Bath

Pour 2 drops of Frankincense, 2 drops of Sweet Orange, 1 drop of Eucalyptus, and 1 tablespoon of Carrier oil, into a bathtub filled with warm water, for you to soak. This mixture can overcome nasal congestion, and helps reduce pain and pain in the body

Steam Inhalation

Pour 3-5 drops of Frankincense oil into a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, then bring your face above the bowl. Close your eyes, and breathe in the steam, to help relieve flu, and headaches
