Lemongrass (Cymbopogon cytratus)
Lemongrass, better known as lemongrass kitchen, is a plant that grows, and is widely found, in Asian, African, Australian and tropical countries. Lemongrass is a type of grass plant, of the type Cymbopogon flexuosus or Cymbopogon citratus
Lemongrass is commonly used to make tea, soup, curry, to refresh processed ingredients, such as chicken, beef, seafood, and as a food flavoring in the culinary field, in Asian states, especially in Thailand and Indonesia.
Lemongrass can also be processed into essential oil, using the steam distilled method. Lemongrass can also be used to make aromatherapy soap and candles, and as an insect repellent naturally.
Lemongrass is one of the most popular essential oils, and is used for effectiveness, health benefits, and various applications. Research shows that Lemongrass oil has antifungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Lemongrass can be used aromatically (using a diffuser), topically (which was previously diluted with carrier oil), and inhaled directly from the bottle.
